Dr. Michelle Novakovich is committed to helping people of all ages and all walks of life, regain confidence in their abilities to hear and communicate effectively through the use of hearing aid technology.

Purpose

HPA’s objective is to accurately assess and treat hearing related disorders. Our doctor of audiology, Michelle Novakovich, is a highly trained hearing healthcare professional who can identify, assess, and manage disorders of the auditory system. Essentially, Dr. Novakovich will provide the rehabilitation necessary to improve the quality of your hearing and quality of life.

HPA has a wide selection of the most advanced fully digital hearing instruments available today, but with the service and price that will fit every individual need.

Our History

HPA has been serving the communities of High Point, Archdale, Sophia, Trinity, Lexington, and Thomasville since 1984. The facility offers diagnostic testing for all ages, school audiological management, hearing aid evaluation and dispensing. In addition, we offer mobile industrial hearing conservation.

Our Staff

Dr. Michelle Novakovich has been practicing audiology since 1999. She received both her Masters and Bachelors degrees in audiology from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro, graduating summa cum laude. She obtained her doctorate of audiology from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry – School of Audiology. She is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss through the use of amplification technologies. She is committed to establishing a lasting relationship between her patients

Loren Novakovich has been a Certified Hearing Conservationist since 2002. He currently operates a state-of-the-art mobile hearing testing vehicle for over 100 local industries from Johnson Controls to Mannington Wood Floors. Loren is OSHA certified to train, test, and review results with employees that are required to be in a Hearing Conservation Program mandated by OSHA section 1910.95. Loren is also certified to conduct sound level surveys for industrial settings.

Lisa Smith has been with High Point Audiological for two years. Lisa is the voice you will hear when you call High Point Audiological to make your appointment and the friendly face you will see when entering our office. Lisa will assist you with making sure the necessary paperwork is filled out before seeing the Audiologist. Lisa’s goal is to make the atmosphere at High Point Audiological a very light and friendly place for all our patients, we’re not only HEAR for your hearing healthcare, but we are here to listen to you as well, we take pride in caring for our patients on a professional , as well as a personal level. Lisa has been CAHOC certified, so she is trained to perform industrial testing for employees who come into our office.
